The Darkness took the Best Album and Best Live Act prizes at music magazine Kerrang!'s tenth annual ceremony in London last night.
The Lowestoft quartet, who supported Metallica earlier this week in the RDS, performed their new single 'I Believe in a Thing Called Love' at the ceremony.
Their debut album, 'The Promised Land', has also been nominated for the Mercury Music Prize.
Metallica were awarded a special Hall of Fame award, Linkin Park won Best International Act, while Best Single went to Good Charlotte for 'Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous'.
