Actress Linda Cardellini, who played Velma in the big screen version of 'Scooby-Doo', is joining the cast of 'ER'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Cardellini will play nurse Samantha Taggart.
She will make her debut in the fifth episode of the new series.
'Bend it Like Beckham' star Parminder Nagra has also signed on as an 'ER' regular.
