County Waterford supermarket manager Elaine Power emerged last night as the winner of RTÉ's reality TV show 'Cabin Fever'.
Power, who is from Dunmore East, outpolled fellow contestants Fiona McGonnell and Cat Sheridan to walk away with the prize of €100,000.
She will receive a Mayoral welcome when she returns to Waterford.
Alderman Tom Cunningham said that Waterford City Council would be honoured to host a civic reception for Power because she was a "wonderful ambassador" for the south-east.
Power also has a horse running at the Tramore races on Saturday.
