'8 Mile' star Brittany Murphy is the latest actress to launch a singing career.
MTV.Com reports that the 25-year-old is going into the studio in November.
Murphy has already recorded a version of the Carly Simon classic 'Nobody Does it Better' for her next movie, the romantic comedy 'Little Black Book'.
Murphy's latest film, 'Uptown Girls', opens in the US this week.
