Eminem wants a $1 million lawsuit that an ex-schoolmate filed against him dismissed.
The Grammy-winning rapper is scheduled to appear in a Detroit court on August 18 to ask the judge to dismiss the case.
DeAngelo Bailey is suing Eminem claiming the rapper's song 'Brain Damage' which named Bailey as a bully, damaged his reputation and his own ability to launch a music career.
Eminem's lawyer claims Bailey is trying to cash in on his client's fame. He also said the song is true because Bailey beat up Eminem when they were in the fourth and sixth grades at Elementary School.
