'Four Weddings and a Funeral' director Mike Newell has been linked to the fourth Harry Potter movie, 'The Goblet of Fire'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Newell has not seen a script or held talks but that both Warner Bros and the director are keen to work together.
Should the parties reach a deal, Newell would be the first British-born director to helm a Harry Potter film.
Newell's latest movie is 'Mona Lisa Smile', starring Julia Roberts, which is due to open in the US in December.
