Oscar winner Angelina Jolie is to star opposite Colin Farrell in Oliver Stone's new historical epic 'Alexander'.
With Farrell in the lead role, Variety reports that Jolie will play Alexander's mother, Olympias, from his childhood through to when he becomes king.
She is set to shoot her scenes in Morocco and London in the autumn.
Jolie will next be seen on Irish screens in 'Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life', which opens on 22 August.
