Celia Cruz, the Cuban-born singer known as the 'Queen of Salsa', has died.
She was 77 and died of a brain tumour at her home in the US state of New Jersey.
Born in 1925, Cruz was lead singer with the legendary Sonora Matancera before leaving Cuba in 1960.
She later became a member of the Tito Puente band and recorded over 70 albums during her career, winning five grammies.
