The White Stripes are to play themselves in 'Coffee and Cigarettes', the new movie from indie film director Jim Jarmusch.
Also set to appear in the movie as themselves are Iggy Pop, Tom Waits, Steve Buscemi and Steve Coogan.
The White Stripes' Jack White will soon be seen onscreen in the new Anthony Minghella film, 'Cold Mountain'.
Jack White is also working on tracks for an album by country legend Loretta Lynn.
