Queen Latifah is to join 'The Matrix Reloaded' star Jada Pinkett Smith in a new action comedy.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the as-yet-untitled film follows the adventures of two women detectives.
Queen Latifah is due to shoot a cameo role in the sequel to hit comedy 'Barbershop' shortly.
She begins work on the US remake of French chase movie 'Taxi' in the autumn.
