Irish feature film 'Intermission' is to receive its world premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh on Friday 11 July.
Actors Colm Meaney and Cillian Murphy will make guest appearances at the screening.
Directed by John Crowley and set in Dublin, 'Intermission' is an urban love story charting the journeys of two young lovers.
It also stars Colin Farrell, Deirdre O'Kane, Barbara Bergin and Michael McElhatton.
Other major events at this year's festival include Masterclasses with the grand dame of European cinema, Agnieszka Holland, and Bond star Pierce Brosnan.
The Fleadh, which runs from Tuesday 8 to Sunday 13 July, will screen over 70 features, documentaries, shorts and animated films throughout the week.
