Four copies of the new Harry Potter book, 'The Order of the Phoenix', have been sold by accident at a Tesco store in Athlone.
The book by JK Rowling does not officially go on sale until midnight but it is understood that staff at the store were not aware of the embargo.
The latest instalment is set to be the fastest selling book of all time with many shops opening at midnight.
Such is the secrecy surrounding the book's plot that distributors have increased security at their warehouses.
