'Conspiracy of Silence' and 'Spin the Bottle' will have their Irish premieres at the Galway Film Fleadh.
'Conspiracy of Silence', a controversial drama from director John Deery on celibacy and AIDS within the priesthood, is the opening film for the 15th Galway Film Fleadh on Tuesday 8 July.
The film features a strong ensemble cast including Jason Barry, Hugh Bonneville, Patrick Casey, Brenda Fricker, and Catherine Walker.
Bringing the week's festivities to a close on Sunday 13 July is 'Spin the Bottle', a comedy from the team who created TV series 'Paths To Freedom'.
Directed by Ian Fitzgibbon, the film follows the exploits of 'Paths To Freedom's Rats (Michael McElhatton) as he tries to raise the money to send his aunt to Lourdes.
Peter McDonald returns as Tommo and Bronagh Gallagher again plays Rats' girlfriend.
