It has been announced that actress Kate Winslet and director Sam Mendes have married in a secret ceremony.
The movie couple married last month as they enjoyed a holiday in the sunshine.
Winslet's daughter from her first marriage was present at the low key event which has been kept under wraps until today.
The couple's family were not even present at the private ceremony in the West Indies.
A statement issued on their behalf today said: "This is to formally announce that Sam Mendes and Kate Winslet married in late May in a very small ceremony whilst on holiday in the West Indies."
