U2 have won this year's Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection.
The Irish rockers were in London for the ceremony, which saw gongs go to Coldplay, The Streets, Liberty X and Avril Lavigne.
Coldplay were named Songwriters of the Year, while The Streets, aka Mike Skinne, took Best Contemporary Song for 'Weak Become Heros'.
Most Performed Work went to Liberty X's 'Just a Little' and Avril Lavigne won Best International Hit of the Year for 'Complicated'.
David Gray's 'The Other Side' was named Best Song Musically and Lyrically.
