Girls Aloud to meet fans in Dublin

UK girlband Girls Aloud will be in Dublin to meet fans at HMV Grafton Street next Friday, 30 May.

The girls will arrive at 6pm to promote the release of their debut album 'Sound of the Underground', which goes on sale tomorrow.

Access to the event will be restricted. Fans who wish to attend must pick up a pair of wristbands by calling into the Grafton St store from tomorrow - Friday 23 May.

Girls Aloud were the highest new entry on the Irish singles chart last week - their song 'No Good Advice' went straight to number two.

Girls Aloud were formed on the 'Popstars: The Rivals' TV show. They are Nadine Coyle from Derry, Cheryl Tweedy, Sarah Harding, Kimberly Walsh and Nicola Roberts.

Their debut single 'Sound of the Underground' was No 1 in both Ireland and the UK.

Girls Aloud will be supporting Westlife when they play Lansdowne Road on 27 and 28 June.
