'Chicago' star Queen Latifah is close to a deal to star in a remake of the South Korean film 'My Wife is a Gangster'.
If she signs up for the lead in the action-comedy, she will play a female mob boss who marries to please her dying sister.
Queen Latifah is also set to shoot a cameo in the sequel to hit US comedy 'Barbershop'.
She is due to release a new album in the summer.
