Ozzy Osbourne's 17-year-old son, Jack, has entered a Californian rehabilitation centre for treatment of drug and alcohol abuse.
According to the family's publicist, Jack checked into the residential facility last week after telling his parents he needed help.
In a TV interview to be broadcast in the US today, Ozzy and wife Sharon say they are proud that their son made the decision for himself.
Their publicist has appealed to the media to respect the family's privacy while Jack undergoes treatment.
