Matthew Perry has admitted that years of alcohol binges nearly killed him.
The 'Friends' star said that seeking help for his addiction was a question of life or death.
Perry told Michael Parkinson, on a show to be aired tomorrow night, that his alcoholism nearly destroyed him.
He says that he has been clean since last year when he beat his addiction to alcohol and painkillers.
Perry is soon to make his West End debut alongside Minnie Driver in David Mamet's 'Sexual Perversity In Chicago'.
