The British Academy of Film and Television Arts is to honour David Jason with a Bafta Fellowship for his outstanding contribution to television.
Jason, 63, is best known for his role as Del Boy Trotter in long running TV comedy 'Only Fools and Horses'.
He will receive his award at the TV Baftas which take place on Sunday.
Other stars who have received this award include John Thaw, Albert Finney and Dame Judi Dench.
Jason has also had hits with 'Open All Hours', 'The Darling Buds of May' and detective drama 'A Touch of Frost'.
