Rapper 50 Cent is starting his own label called G-Unit Records.
He has inked a label deal with his current home Interscope Records, who will market and distribute all G-Unit releases while 50 Cent will scout and sign artists.
The first fruits of the new collaboration will be a live album by G-Unit, the rap collective featuring 50 Cent, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks.
Their album is due for release towards the end of the year.
