Complaints about a joke made by Graham Norton on his TV show about Bee Gee Maurice Gibb's death have been upheld.
Norton made comments about the singer's heart monitor on his chat show, which the Broadcasting Standards Commision in the UK have said were in poor taste.
The Irish presenter apologised to the Gibb family and Channel 4 have said they regret causing offence.
The Gibb family had referred to Norton as 'scum' after the incident.
Maurice Gibb died in January, following an operation to remove a blockage in his intestines.
