Singer and guitarist Mark Knopfler has been hurt in a motorbike accident in London.
The former Dire Straits frontman sustained a broken collarbone and six broken ribs but was later discharged from hospital.
It is reported that Knopfler was on a motorbike in London's Belgravia district when he was involved in a collision with a car.
The motorist was unhurt.
