'8 Mile' star Brittany Murphy is to play the lead in a new romantic comedy called 'Little Black Book'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Murphy will play a TV producer who gets more than she bargained for when she takes a look at the contents of her boyfriend's Palm Pilot.
The star will reportedly earn around $4m for the role. Production, with an as-yet-unnamed director, is due to begin in the Summer.
Murphy will next be seen on Irish screens in the comedy 'Just Married', which opens on 21 March.
