Snoop Dogg deal for own MTV series

Rapper Snoop Dogg is to get his own MTV series, beginning in the US this Summer.

'Doggy Fizzle Televizzle' will be a satirical show, which will focus on pop culture.

The six-episode series begins its run in the US on 22 June.

Ashton Kutcher, star of 'That 70s Show', is also getting his own programme on the channel.

'Punk'd' is a comedy show that will feature practical jokes played on celebrities.

Kutcher will soon be seen on Irish screens in the romantic comedy 'Just Married', which opens on 21 March.
