It has been confirmed that former Verve guitarist Simon Tong will be Blur's new live guitarist.
Tong has been in rehearsals in London with the other band members preparing for live shows later in the year.
A source close to the band has emphasised that he is not replacing departed guitarist Graham Coxon as a full-time band member.
Tong joined Blur on stage at a Parlophone record company preview night in London during the weekend.
