American pop star Michael Jackson has said he will release video footage that proves the recent TV documentary on him was misleading.
Jackson says he has video excerpts, filmed by his personal cameraman during the eight-month documentary shoot, to prove that British journalist Martin Bashir's portrayal was hypocritical.
On 'Living With Michael Jackson', screened on ITV last week, Jackson admitted that he shares his bed with children.
The singer has since complained that the show, which provoked a storm of controversy, "could have led viewers to conclude that he abuses children".
Jackson has made an official complaint to TV watchdogs in Britain about the show.
His lawyers said it contained clear innuendo that the Jackson is guilty of inappropriate behaviour with children and that he had been unfairly treated.
Granada Television have insisted the programme was truthful and open.
Authorities in California, where Jackson's Neverland ranch is located, said sharing a bed with children was no crime in California.
