The much-anticipated sequel to 'Bridget Jones's Diary' has been thrown into doubt by actress Renee Zellweger.
Speaking at the Berlin Film Festival, the actress, who starred in the first film, dismissed reports that she had agreed to appear in the sequel and said neither she, nor her co-star Hugh Grant, knew anything about the project.
Reports last year suggested that an agreement was in place for Zellweger to star in the sequel together with Colin Firth and George Clooney.
