Rubyhorse Irish tour starts Monday

Cork band Rubyhorse return to Ireland for a tour that starts in Limerick on Monday 3 February.

The band left Cork in 1997 for a residency in a Boston pub, got a record deal and released 'Rise', their major-label debut on Universal/Island last in the US last May.

Their debut single, 'Sparkle', reached No 15 in the Billboard chart and saw Rubyhorse performing on both David Letterman and the Conan O'Brien show, as well as featuring in an episode of American Network TV drama, 'Smallville'.

Produced by Jay Joyce (Patty Griffin, Lisa Germano, Tim Finn), 'Rise' features one of the late George Harrison's final collaborations on a track called 'Punchdrunk'.
