Matt Damon is to star in a new film for director Steven Soderbergh called 'The Informant'.
Variety reports that the film is based on the book of the same name by New York Times investigative reporter Kurt Eichenwald.
It tells the true story of an executive turned FBI 'mole' who helped expose a major price-fixing conspiracy involving US corporation Archer Daniels Midland.
Damon and Soderbergh previously worked together on heist caper 'Ocean's Eleven'.
It is unclear when shooting on 'The Informant' will begin as Soderbergh is first set to direct 'Ocean's Twelve', the sequel to his 2002 hit.
