Oscar winner Kirk Douglas is to star in a new period comedy called 'The Illusion'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the film is adapted from the 17th Century Corneille play 'L'illusion Comique' and tells the story of a man's lifelong fascination with a woman and a dying father who is estranged from his son.
Production is set to begin at the end of the month.
Kirk Douglas will soon be seen on US screens alongside son Michael in the comedy 'It Runs in the Family'.
