Metallica have performed a surprise show on the back of a truck in California.
The band, with producer Bob Rock on bass, played outside Oakland's Network Coliseum before Sunday's game between the Oakland Raiders and the Tennessee Titans.
The setlist featured 'Fuel', 'Battery', 'Master of Puppets', 'For Whom The Bell Tolls', 'Sad But True' and 'Seek & Destroy'.
The band are currently at work on their new album and have been auditioning bassists following the departure of Jason Newsted.
