Renée set for Bridget Jones sequel

The New York Post has reported that Golden Globe winner Renée Zellweger is to star in a sequel to 'Bridget Jones's Diary'.

The actress told the Post that she would gain weight for the role in 'The Edge of Reason' "with pleasure".

It is expected that the film will be released in the Summer of next year.

It has been reported that Zellweger will make $20m from signing up for the sequel.

The actress won the Best Actress (musical/comedy) for her role in 'Chicago' at the Golden Globes on Sunday.
