Aniston wins TV comedy Globe

'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston won the Best Television Comedy Actress award at the Golden Globes last night.

Albert Finney won Best Actor in a mini-series or television movie for his Emmy-winning role as Winston Churchill in 'The Gathering Storm'.

The programme, which also starred Vanessa Redgrave, Linus Roache and Jim Broadbent, also won the Best Television Movie.

Kim Cattrall won Best Television Supporting Actress for her role as Samantha Jones in 'Sex And The City'.

Edie Falco won Best Dramatic Actress for her role as the unhappy wife of a gangster in 'The Sopranos'.

Michael Chiklis won Best Actor in a Drama Series for his role in police drama 'The Shield', which also took the Best Television Drama award.

Best Actress in a mini-series or television movie went to Uma Thurman for 'Hysterical Blindness'.

Best Supporting Actor in a series, mini-series or movie made for television went to Donald Sutherland for 'Path to War'.
