Nicole Kidman is in talks to star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in a new film about billionaire Howard Hughes.
Kidman is being lined up for the role of screen icon Ava Gardner in the Martin Scorsees directed film, 'The Aviator'.
DiCaprio will play entrepreneur, inventor, pilot, producer and legendary lothario Hughes, who became a recluse in later life.
Hughes fancied the famously hot-tempered Gardner but she was known to have punched him in the face, clubbed him on the head with a silver candlestick and hospitalised him with a well-aimed bronze bell.
If Kidman signs up, shooting is expected to get underway in June.
