An autopsy report says Bee Gee Maurice Gibb died from a twisted intestine, caused by a medical condition he had had since birth.
Gibb, 53, died after being admitted to a Miami hospital for an operation on his intestines. He suffered a heart attack before undergoing surgery.
His brothers, Robin and Barry have questioned the treatment he received at the hospital in Florida.
