The girlband formed on the 'Popstars: The Rivals' TV show in the UK has ended Eminem's five week reign at the top of the Irish singles chart.

After four weeks on release, Girls Aloud's 'Sound Of The Underground' rose from number two to take the top slot, knocking Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' back to two.

Daniel Bedingfield's 'If You're Not The One' rose from six to three. Blue featuring Elton John are at four with 'Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word', while Avril Lavigne completes the top five with 'Sk8er Boi'.

This week's new entries were 'Year 3000' by Busted at nine, 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' by Flip & Fill at 24, 'Times Like These' by Foo Fighters at 27, and 'Live is Life' by DJ Otzi vs. Hermes House Band at 30.
