Teen singing sensation Charlotte Church has landed her first feature film role, in a comedy musical.
'I'll Be There', tells the story of a young girl with a musical talent, who discovers that her real father is a washed up 80s pop star.
The film is said to be loosely based on actress Liv Tyler's life story – she discovered that her father was Aerosmith frontman Steve Tyler.
Comedian Craig Ferguson said he wrote the script with Charlotte in mind; he plays her father in the film and also directs.
'I’ll Be There' is going under the name 'The Family Business' in the United States.
Charlotte made her acting debut in UK TV drama 'Heartbeat'.
