Metallica singer on Waylon tribute

Metallica frontman James Hetfield has recorded a cover of a Waylon Jennings track for a tribute album to the late Country & Western star.

'I've Always Been Crazy: A Tribute to Waylon Jennings' is due for release this April and features Hetfield's take on the song 'Don't You Think This Outlaw Bit's Done Got Out of Hand'.

Other artists appearing on the album include Kid Rock, Alison Krauss, John Mellencamp, Hank Williams Jr and Dwight Yokam.

Hetfield is currently at work on the upcoming Metallica album, which is set for a Summer release.
