'The Pianist' has won four awards at the National Society of Film Critics awards in the US.
Directed by Roman Polanski, the film tells the story of a Polish-Jewish pianist in Nazi-occupied Poland and his escape from a Warsaw ghetto.
Polanski won Best Director and the film was voted Best Picture of 2002. Best Actor went to the film's star Adrian Brody and 'The Pianist' also won Best Screenplay.
'The Pianist' won the Palme D'Or at Cannes in 2002 and is a strong contender for this year's Oscars.
It is due for release in Ireland on 24 January.
