Jennifer Lopez's new film 'Maid in Manhattan', has beaten the latest Star Trek adventure to the top of the US box office.
The singer, who is currently starring in 'Enough' at Irish cinemas nationwide, narrowly beat 'Star Trek: Nemesis' to number one, taking $19m; 'Nemesis' took $18.7m.
Ralph Fiennes also stars in 'Maid in Manhattan', in which Lopez plays a hotel maid mistaken for a socialite.
'Drumline', starring Nick Cannon, was third on the chart, while comedy 'The Hot Chick' and Pierce Brosnan's 'Die Another Day' tied for fourth place.
'Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets' is at number six.
