Paul sparks Beatles feud with Yoko

Paul McCartney has sparked another Beatles feud with the release of his live album, 'Back in the U.S'.

Contrary to the wishes of John Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono, the nineteen Beatles songs included on the two-disc set are credited to "Paul McCartney and John Lennon" rather than the traditional "Lennon/McCartney."

Although Paul has continually claimed that the two Beatles agreed that they could switch the names whenever they felt like it, Ono's lawyer has described McCartney's actions as "absolutely inappropriate and very petty".

In Japan, Yoko Ono called for peace and global solidarity on the anniversary of the murder of her husband this weekend.

Ono, 69, said, "Even little children sing the song 'Imagine,' which shows John's spirit is living all around the world even 22 years later."

She was in Japan to take part in a concert honouring Lennon, who was murdered on 8 December 1980 outside his Manhattan apartment.
