Oscar winner Nicolas Cage has filed for divorce from Lisa Marie Presley after three months of marriage.
The 38-year-old star cited irreconcilable differences in divorce papers filed in Los Angeles yesterday.
Cage and Presley married in a ceremony in August, after an 18-month romance.
Cage would not comment on reasons for the divorce but Presley said the marriage was a "big mistake".
It was Presley's third marriage; she was married to Michael Jackson for two years from 1994 to 1996.
Cage was previously married to actress Patricia Arquette for six years.
