Investigators are set to question a man in connection with last week's fatal shooting of Run-DMC member Jam Master Jay.
It is understood that the man had had a long-running conflict with the DJ, whose real name was Jason Mizell.
The unidentified man is believed to have threatened one of Jam Master Jay's associates in a telephone call several weeks ago.
The 37-year-old musician was shot by a masked gunman as he played video games in the lounge of his recording studio in Queens.
The funeral will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, at the Allen AME Cathedral in Queens, following a public wake at the Jay Foster-Phillips Funeral Home this afternoon.
There will be a police presence at both events.
