Author Trevor among Booker favourites

Irish author William Trevor is one of the favourites to take this year's Booker Prize for Literature due to be announced later today.

Trevor was named as one of the six shortlisted candidates for the £50,000 stg prize.

His novel, 'The Story of Lucy Gault', was chosen from an original list of 130.

The winner will be announced at a ceremony in London later tonight.
