Avril Lavigne has gone straight in at number one on the Irish singles charts with her debut song, 'Complicated'.
Lavigne knocked Atomic Kitten from their three week reign at the top with their cover of the Blondie song 'The Tide Is High'.
Pink remained in second place on the chart with 'Just Like a Pill'.
Other new entries on the Irish singles chart included Will Young and Gareth Gates' duet, a cover of the Beatles song 'The Long and Winding Road' at four and 'Little By Little/She Is Love' by Oasis at nine.
