The answers to a string of mysteries and conspiracy theories, which have gripped X-Files fans for years, will be revealed this Thursday as the final episode of the series is screened.
The show is coming to an end after nine years and a two-hour special will be screened on Sky One tonight.
Fans will discover the truth behind the black oil aliens, the spiky backed humans and the faceless bounty hunters.
A film version of the X-Files is due for release in 2004.
