Ms Dynamite takes Mercury Prize

21-year-old Ms Dynamite became the first solo black female artist to win the Mercury Music Prize in London last night.

The Londoner beat favourites such as The Streets and The Coral to win the £20,000 prize for her debut album 'A Little Deeper'.

Ms Dynamite, whose real name is Naomi McLean-Daley, pledged to give the prizemoney to charity at the ceremony.

She has had hits with the singles 'Dy-na-mi-tee' and 'It Takes More'.
