EastEnders star Michael Elphick dies

The British Actor Michael Elphick, who played the role of Harry Slater in 'EastEnders', has died.

The 55-year-old actor collapsed over the weekend and died in hospital in London.

The 'EastEnders' role was his most recent television part, as the controversial brother of taxi driver Charlie Slater, but Elphick had also starred in TV shows 'Boon' and 'Private Shultz'.

He also worked in theatre and film roles throughout his career.
