American actress Reese Witherspoon is set to reprise her role as ditsy lawyer Elle Woods in a sequel to the hit comedy 'Legally Blonde'.
Variety reports that Witherspoon will be paid $15m for 'Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde' and will also produce the film.
Robert Luketic, director of the first instalmen,t will not be behind the lens for the follow-up.
Shooting on 'Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde' is set to begin in the US in November with a release pencilled in for Summer 2003.
Reese Witherspoon can currently be seen on Irish screens in the new adaptation of Oscar Wilde's 'The Importance of Being Earnest'.
